3. Who is eligible to enroll? School of Professional Ministry Requirements All applicants who have a High School Diploma or GED and who are able to successfully complete the Applicant Screening Process may enroll. Applicants must provide official transcripts, 3 letters of recommendation, complete the application and entrance exams. Applicable fees must be paid before screening elements will be processed. Note that all accepted distance learning students must have and maintain an active email account Graduate School Requirements Enrolling students in any graduate program must have completed undergraduate studies and have a Bachelor’s degree or commensurate academic certification. Successful scoring on all entrance exams, provision of official transcripts, supplying a ministerial or professional vitae, and ability to demonstrate interest and/or experience in the student’s chosen program are requirements for acceptance. 4. What is your ideal student? Generally the ideal or most compatible student for KEU is intimately entwined with Christ’s mission and mandate, being pervasively and decidedly eternally kingdom minded. More than doctrinal, ecclesiastical, or spiritual in their perspective of Christianity and God's kingdom, they see their place and function in largely apostolic and prophetic contexts. (KEU Interim Course Catalog, pg. 41). 25 basic ideal student traits and requirements are as follows: ¨ Have completed high school. ¨ Have all the official documents for enrollment in advanced programs. ¨ Have completed undergraduate studies with a GPA of 3.8 or higher. ¨ Have a minimum of three to four years undergraduate education or equivalent ministry experience. ¨ Ideally, a bachelor’s diploma or commensurate academic certification. ¨ One to three years active ministry. ¨ In a leadership position, or closely associated in ministry with a leader. ¨ A documented three to five years of ministry apprenticeship under a qualified leader. ¨ Exceptional candidate: Three or more years of full-time active ministry service. ¨ Successfully pass all entrance exams and assessments. ¨ Exhibit through screening process the ability to perform at a GPA of 3.8 or higher. ¨ Demonstrate compatibility with the program of choice. ¨ Present ministerial and/or professional vitae of active ministry or business. ¨ Show degree of success and measure of accomplishments achieved since completing previous education. ¨ Be able to attend and comply with all required sessions and participate in all programmed class activities. ¨ Able to comprehend, complete, and submit assigned coursework as instructed. ¨ Have ability to research materials and produce formal and informal papers. ¨ Be able to take tests, complete assignments, and fulfill projects according to specified deadlines. ¨ Be able to communicate effectively in writing and have satisfactory verbal skills. ¨ Have strong literary ability for program research and study requirements. ¨ Be able to type and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet based software programs. ¨ Have a strong knowledge of God's Word and the ability to apply it in assigned coursework. ¨ Have a strong and verifiable Christian testimony and reputation among associates and peers. ¨ Have the financial ability to complete education and a verifiable history of financial responsibility ¨ Have the ability to adhere or conform to University protocols, policies and procedures, and student regulations.
